This is a story of restless beginnings, fragile hearts, bold independence, and eventual renewal—where every generation is both a continuation and a departure.

Core Legacy Rules

Each generation must complete:

  • Keep a family cemetery on the lot starting Gen 4.
  • Keep one heirloom object passed through every generation.
  • Each generation must complete their aspiration before passing the legacy to the next heir.
  • Ageing on for everyone.
  • Choose 3 traits.
  • No money cheats (motherlode, rosebud, etc.).
  • Lifespan: Normal or Long (recommended for storytelling).
  • You must play one main heir per generation. Each heir must:
    • Complete their Aspiration
    • Reach at least Level 8 of their career (or equivalent for freelancers)
    • The next generation begins when the heir becomes a Young Adult.
  • No exploiting game mechanics for easy money (e.g., painting spam purely for profit without storytelling).
  • No resurrecting Sims (unless it fits a supernatural generation storyline).
  • Mods are allowed but should not break progression or challenge balance.

Stolen Car

Restless, magnetic, and unpredictable, this heir moves through life with a sense of urgency and freedom. Romance and mischief follow wherever they go, leaving behind sparks and stolen treasures. Nothing in the city can hold them for long.
