For one in-game week, your Sim must not engage in activities tied to their career or aspirations. Visit a new location (City Living festivals, jungle exploration, etc.) to find inspiration. If your Sim fails to rekindle their purpose, they lose career performance.
  2. Rebellious Protégé: A mentee or child challenges their teachings, refusing to follow their guidance. Try to repair the relationship by gaining a positive sentiment with the rebellious Sim. Or, allow the rebellion to play out, risking the relationship in exchange for your Sim gaining a deeper understanding of adaptability.

Take a leadership role, risking reputation loss if the cause fails.
  5. Hidden Legacy: Your Sim discovers a hidden truth about their family’s past—an ancestor broke the very traditions they now uphold. Choose to investigate this secret (visit hidden lots, interact with older Sims, or read historical archives). If uncovered, it shakes your Sim’s sense of identity, requiring them to rebuild relationships. Or, Ignore the secret and risk negative moodlets or strained family relationships.
  6. Rite of Passage: A key family member asks your Sim to host an important event, such as a wedding, holiday, or coming-of-age ceremony. Successfully plan and execute the event within a week. Earn at least a Gold rating using The Sims 4’s event system. Deviate from tradition during the event (e.g., modernize rituals or include unusual elements).
