A Bratz Legacy Challenge

  • All Generations must have 3 or 4 close friends (not related) who see them through life.
  • You must complete a minimum of one adult aspiration.
  • You are only required to complete one Career path. You can do both.
  • Each Gen has a personal challenge and a life challenge that is connected. How these occur and are resolved – positively or negatively is up to you. Not all stories need to be happy ever after.
  • You do not have to dress in 1 colour, but you should include their colour in your looks and homes.
  • Romantic relationships can be swapped for deep emotional connections where a character has no interest in woohoo or romance.
  • Significant others can be BF/GF, Fiancee/Fiance, or Spouse.
  • If you do not have the pack, complete an alternative.
  • You can play this as a short legacy as gens 1 to 4 are the original Bratz.
  • This is inspired by the Bratz dolls, so I have taken creative licence, as should you when creating your story

  • I use mods/cc in my game and have no problem with you using them here.
  • Although these are all based on female characters, they can be of any gender.
  • Do not change their genetic appearance.
  • Children can be natural, science, or adopted as a baby/infant.

Generation 1: Cloe “Angel”

  • Traits: Outgoing, Self Absorbed
  • Aspiration: Master Actor, Friend of the world.
  • Career: Style Influencer, Actor
  • Colour and Style: Blue. Glamorous and Chic.

Background: Your enthusiasm is infectious, drawing people to your high energy and bubbly nature. Creativity is at the core of who you are, especially in fashion, where your unique style inspires others. Often lost in daydreams, you have an imaginative mind that fuels your creativity. You care deeply about those around you and consistently show compassion. You are steadfast in your support for friends and family. However, your sensitivity can lead to over-the-top reactions to situations and confrontations. Your impulsiveness often results in decisions not thoroughly thought through, and your vivid imagination can easily distract you from the tasks at hand.

Generation Goals:

  • Complete the Photography, Acting and Charisma Skills
  • Decorate your home with your photos and paintings.
  • Have a studio in your home dedicated to your creative talents.
  • Have 6 Significant others.
  • Earn the ‘Hungry for Love’ lifestyle.
  • Have 2 Children.
  • Always look to be the centre of attention, by fishing for or receiving a daily compliment.
  • You must overreact to both good and bad situations.
  • Must gain a compliment from someone before they can be your friend.
  • Must have a pristine reputation before becoming a 5-star celebrity
  • Optional Storytelling: Be at the centre of a public scandal. Cheat your reputation into the negative by at least 50%. When trying to salvage your reputation, you must start each conversation with 3 negative (complaints, sad, mean, or mischievous) interactions. Reputation needs to be positive again to complete the challenge.
  • Optional Relationship: Fall out with your best friend about the importance of your social media image and reputation.
  • Optional: Have a degree in Communications.
  • Optional: Start with a family including parents, 3 siblings, an Aunt or Uncle with 2 cousins

Generation 2: Sasha “Bunny Boo”

  • Traits: Self-Assured, Hot-Headed
  • Aspiration: Party Animal, Musical Genius
  • Career: DJ, Musician – Entertainer
  • Colour and Style: Red. Urban and Sporty.

Background: Ready to take charge. You are passionate about music and dance, continuously striving to improve by channelling your energy into your passions. Your dedication inspires others to do the same. Often the centre of attention at social gatherings, you make an impression, whether good or bad. Fiercely loyal and protective of your friends and family, you stand by them no matter what. You are always truthful; you appreciate honesty in return. Thriving in fast-paced environments, you bring dynamic energy to everything you do. However, your stubbornness means it’s hard to change once you set your mind to something. Your impatience drives you to want immediate results, making you struggle with long-term commitments. Others can perceive you as harsh. While valued by some, your blunt honesty leads to hurt feelings and misunderstandings.

Generation Goals:

  • Rarely miss an opportunity to hang out or Party.
  • Max Dancing, DJ and any instrument (including singing)
  • Have 5 Significant Others
  • Fully Customised your club with looks and perks, do’s and don’t.
  • Assign an off-lot club meeting place, i.e. Thrift and Boba tea shop. Use the Get Together club system to do this.
  • Have 3 Children
  • Push yourself to succeed, even at the expense of your needs. Failure is not an option for you.
  • End this generation single, with the single and lovin’ it lifestyle.
  • Optional Relationship: Friction. Push your sibling hard, and try to dictate their choices. Be opinionated on their life choices.
  • Optional Storytelling: At level 7 of career; lose or have things ‘stolen’. DJ equipment, Musical Equipment. Delete the items and deduct the cost of them from household funds. And/or Be side-lined from work projects, have a rival and get fired before level 9. Loss affects relationships, whether losing a long-term partner or the strain your losses put on them. You are argumentative and impatient to get back what you have lost. During 1 sim week, you must argue with close friends when you see them and argue with at least 1 household member every day.
  • Optional: Complete a degree in Fine Art
  • Optional: Bake (Cookies) every week.
  • Optional: Become a famous musician and perform in public once a fortnight.

Generation 3: Yasmin “Pretty Princess”

  • Traits: Creative,Non-Committal
  • Aspiration: Best-Selling Author, Outdoor Enthusiast
  • Career: Writer, Conservationist
  • Colour and Style: Earthy Tones (Brown and Gold). Bohemian and Earthy.

Background: People describe you as gentle, warm, and kind. You enjoy reflecting on experiences and the deeper meaning of life. With a strong creative streak, you express yourself through writing and fashion. Empathetic and a good listener, you support your friends, offering understanding and comfort. Your positive energy encourages others to remain hopeful, and your optimism helps you see the bright side of any situation. Conscious about the environment, you actively promote eco-friendly practices and strive to leave a positive impact on the world. However, you are shy, especially in new places with new people, and struggle to assert or express yourself. Your idealism can sometimes lead to disappointment when reality doesn’t meet your high expectations. Additionally, you tend to avoid problems and conflict instead of dealing with them directly, which can leave issues unresolved.

  • Max the Writing and Gardening Skills
  • Earn a close-knit lifestyle.
  • Have 5 Significant Others.
  • Have 4 children.
  • Optional Relationship: Rebellion against your parents.
  • Find your voice. You are self-critical about your work and are unlikely to publish because of fear of others’ criticism. So only publish Excellent or outstanding work.
  • To complete the challenge move into an eco-friendly home, with the majority salvaged or handmade furnishings.
  • Optional Storytelling: Financial Crisis. You lose your financial stability. You have $1,000 to rebuild your life in a rental or city apartment. The neighbourhood should be undesirable. Become withdrawn, protective of your past, and carry strong feelings of guilt and shame.
  • Optional: Earn a degree in Language and Literature.
  • Optional: Always have a pet.
  • Optional: Ge involved with N.A.P and community spaces (a garden space?)

Generation 4: Jade “Kool Kat”

  • Traits: Geek, Erratic
  • Aspiration: Nerd Brain, Master Maker
  • Career: Tech Guru, Freelance Crafter
  • Colour and Style: Green. Edgy and Punk.

Background: Always ahead of the latest trends, you love experimenting with your looks and those of your friends. You are not afraid to stand out and make bold fashion choices. Priding yourself on being self-reliant, you handle situations on your own with confidence. Your fun-loving nature brings excitement to every situation, ensuring there is never a dull moment. However, your rebellious streak leads you to challenge rules, often resulting in conflict and unforeseen consequences. Your impulsiveness means you dive into new projects without fully thinking them through, sometimes leading to complications. Additionally, your stubbornness makes it difficult for you to change your mind, even when it’s in your best interest.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Programming, Media production and Robotics
  • Earn the Techie lifestyle.
  • Have 3 – 4 Significant Others
  • Have 1 Child
  • Carry the fear of failure. You struggle to see how your failure can lead to success.
  • Drop out or expelled from High School.
  • Optional Relationship: Romantic partner feels you prioritise tech over them
  • Optional Storytelling: Public failure. Your projects always gather attention, but this public unveiling is a disaster. A tarnished reputation, puts pressure on everyone around you to deliver perfect (outstanding) results. Nothing less is acceptable.
  • Achieve complete burnout (Growing together). Including, damage to both work and personal relationships. (For example, angry when a meal is not outstanding, or the child has not achieved top grades. SO not getting the promotion they worked for)
  • Once Burnout is achieved, you can repair yourself and the damage done. Have you learned from the experience?
  • Optional: Earn a Computer Science Degree.
  • Optional: Have a robot at a significant other.

Generation 5: Meygan “Funky Fashion Monkey”

  • Traits: Art Lover, Perfectionist
  • Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire, Lord/Lady of the Knits
  • Career: Painter, Freelance Fashion Photography
  • Colour and Style: Orange. Eclectic and Colourful.

Background: You are fun-loving and quirky, with an infectious laugh and a fearless sense of individuality. Always looking on the bright side, you see the good in people and situations. You are a loyal friend who offers unwavering support. However, your impulsiveness can lead to hasty decisions, and your eagerness to help others often results in over-committing. Despite your confident exterior, you are vulnerable to criticism.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Painting and Knitting skills
  • Have an indoorsy lifestyle.
  • Have 3 – 4 Significant Others
  • Have 2 Children
  • You hate imperfection, so destroy/frog anything that is not of excellent or outstanding quality
  • The demand for perfectionism can take away your love for doing things, this means answering yes to the like or dislike question on activities, even if you still need to do them.
  • Optional Storytelling: Plagarism. ‘Friends’ or Former Colleagues/peers crawl from the woodwork to claim your work as theirs. Change (or if using mods add) one trait to Paranoid. These claims make you doubt your authenticity. Isolate yourself from friends, family and career, to prove your authenticity.
  • Optional Relationship: Your suspicion and paranoia spill over into conflict with your 3 closest friends who you believe will also betray you.
  • Optional: Have an Art History Degree

Generation 6: Dana “Sugar Shoes”

  • Traits: Neat, Materialistic
  • Aspiration: Master Chef, Market Magnate, Self-Care Specialist
  • Career: Chef, Food Critic, Independent Chef
  • Colour and Style: Pink. Sweet and Trendy.

Background: You are sweet and kind-hearted, always approaching life with optimism. Your positive attitude is contagious, and you naturally encourage others to see the brighter side of things. However, your eagerness to please often means you rarely set personal boundaries. This tendency can make you indecisive, as you struggle to balance your needs with those of others. Additionally, your aversion to conflict leads to avoiding difficult conversations, resulting in unresolved issues. While your kindness and optimism are your strengths, learning to establish boundaries and face conflicts directly is essential.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Baking and Wellness skills
  • Earn the Workaholic lifestyle.
  • Open a bakery.
  • Have 4 – 5 Significant Others
  • Have 3 Children
  • On the outside, you are nailing the finer details. However, this facade relies on validation from others and success in your job and business.
  • Optional Storytelling: A fire burns down the bakery. Was it an accident or sabotage? You are lost and angry, grieving for what is lost. Unable to see past you refuse help from others.
  • Optional Relationship: Family relationships are seriously strained as you attempt a solo mission to rebuild your life. How can your romantic relationship survive?
  • Optional: Earn a degree in Culinary Arts
  • Optional: Rebuild Bakery on a new lot to 4 stars after the fire.

Generation 7: Fianna “Fragrance”

  • Traits: Romantic, jealous
  • Aspiration: Master Mixologist, Bodybuilder, Romantic explorer
  • Career: Mixologist, Wellness Guru
  • Colour and Style: Purple. Romantic and Whimsical.

Background: You are driven by whimsy and romance, often losing yourself in your thoughts. Your empathetic and sensitive nature allows you to connect with those around you, offering comfort and support. You rely heavily on the mystical and spiritual, putting faith in the universe to guide you. However, this reliance can sometimes lead to a lack of practical approach to everyday matters. Your romantic outlook often results in unrealistic expectations, leaving you disappointed when reality doesn’t match your dreams. Additionally, your sensitivity makes you prone to being easily hurt by criticism or negative situations.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Herbalism and Mixology
  • When you suffer setbacks (for example, not getting the grade/promotion or strong negative emotions) you lose motivation to follow your dreams for 2-3 days.
  • Have 3 – 4 Significant others
  • Have 2 children
  • Commit yourself to wellness, and have a pamper day at least once a week.
  • Optional Storytelling: Betrayed. Your partner cheats on you. How did you not see it? You know love is a lie, so you protect your heart from it getting hurt again. Perform a mean interaction for every 3 romantic interactions you perform. When you have 100% romance with someone you can stop adding in the mean interactions.
  • Optional Relationship: 3 close friendships are affected by your fear of betrayal. You hold them at arm’s length so no one can ever get close to hurting you.
  • Optional: Earn a degree in Biology

Generation 8: Nevra “Queen B”

  • Traits: Snob, Ambitious
  • Aspiration: Leader of the Pack, Renaissance Sim, Academic
  • Career: Politician, Lawyer
  • Colour and Style: Black. Sophisticated and Elegant.

Background: You command attention when you walk into a room, exuding natural leadership and confidence. Ambitious and determined, you relentlessly pursue your dreams. Your captivating personality and charisma make you a magnetic presence in social settings. Loyalty is a cornerstone of your character, and you deeply value your friendships, always standing by those you care about. You are decisive and do not shy away from making tough decisions. However, your perfectionist tendencies can lead to stress and frustration when things don’t go as planned. At times, your assertiveness may come across as dominant and overbearing. Additionally, your struggle with vulnerability can make you appear shallow, as you find it difficult to open up about your insecurities and fears.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Logic, Entrepreneur, and Research & Debate skills.
  • Earn an energetic lifestyle.
  • Have 4 – 5 Significant Others
  • Have 1 child
  • Aside from your 3 core friends/household, the majority of people you know are acquaintances. A small number can be friends (about 35% of friendship bar). SO’s not in the household can be good friends (about 60% of the friendship bar).
  • As there is no decay on relationships without mods, use mean interactions to reduce the bars if they get too high.
  • Go to university. (If you don’t have the university pack, the same story can be done with High School).
  • Optional Storytelling: It is hard to be so popular and earn a degree. You are caught in a web of lies and are expelled from university. Loss of respect, reputation (cheat to negative 50%) and status as Queen B (another friend must be the leader of your friend group). You become manipulative, convincing Sims to do things they would not normally do or making them do things that benefit you. Failing to take responsibility for your actions. What is your journey? Do you let people in and build relationships. Do you take responsibility and go back to university? Or can you make it without a degree?
  • Optional Relationship: Your parents are disappointed, and questioning your integrity. Your continued refusal to take responsibility causes a family rift.
  • Optional: Earn a degree in economics.

Generation 9: Felicia “Glam Gecko”

  • Traits: Lovebug, Adventurous
  • Aspiration: Jungle Explorer, Fabulously Wealthy
  • Career: Archaeologist, Education – Professor
  • Colour and Style: Turquoise. Adventurous and Casual

Background: You are adventurous and constantly seek new experiences, thriving on excitement and embracing challenges. Your social nature makes you the life of the party, easily connecting with others and enjoying group activities. Confident and bold, you are unafraid to speak your mind and stand out. However, your impulsiveness often leads you to act on desires without considering potential consequences, adding unpredictability to your life. Routine bores you, and you struggle with tasks that require consistency and long-term commitment. Additionally, you tend to take things personally, especially criticism, which can impact your emotional well-being.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Archelogy, Rock Climbing and Salvadoradian Culture skills.
  • Earn the Frequent Traveller lifestyle
  • Have 3 – 4 Significant Others
  • Have 3 children
  • Navigating change and uncertainty. You feel unnerved when experiencing new cultures and meeting new people for the first time. It takes you time to settle into new places.
  • Decorate your home with artefacts found and brought on your travels.
  • Optional Relationship: Feels unsupported by a romantic partner who constantly argues against taking on risky endeavours.
  • Optional Storytelling: Lost and Alone. You lead an expedition,. A storm separates you from the group. Obviously dying is not an option but how will you find your way back after a massive panic? This experience impacts your ability to carry out adventures in the future.
  • Optional: Earn a History Degree.
  • Optional: Visit, Vacation or live in all worlds.

Generation 10: Kumi “LadyBug”

  • Traits: Romantically reserved or Loner, Cat or Dog lover
  • Aspiration: Friend of the Animals, World Famous Celebrity, Soul Mate
  • Career: Veterinarian, Social Media – Public Relations
  • Colour and Style: Lavender. Minimalist and Modern

Background: You have a calm demeanour, capable of handling stress and maintaining your inner peace, which also helps to soothe those around you. Your intelligence drives a love for deep thoughts, although you often overthink. You excel at problem-solving and taking a logical approach to situations. You can see the beauty in the world around you, which fuels your creative side. Self-reliant and introverted, you enjoy your own company but can navigate social settings, preferring smaller gatherings. However, you often find yourself isolated and reluctant to ask for help. You have a preference for doing things a certain way, and your perfectionism or high standards can lead to stress and frustration when things don’t meet your expectations.

Generation Goals:

  • Max Singing and Veterinarian skills.
  • Have 2 – 3 Significant Others
  • Have 2 children.
  • Always have a pet.
  • Have a special pet celebration on the calendar.
  • You are the end of a long line. You feel under pressure to conform to the high expectations set by your predecessors.
  • Optional Relationship: Your overprotective nature for your pet(s) means you prioritise them over family. This causes tension.
  • Optional Storytelling: You cannot stop time. When your beloved pet gets ill, the vet is unable to help. You devote yourself to caring for your pet at the expense of yourself and those around you. The thought they will eventually die, taps into a long-held fear of emotional attachment and loss. You reject all advice and assistance in pursuit of caring for your pet, causing problems in the household.
